Berlin has the potential to become the first Circular City in Germany, due to its growing variety of initiatives, grass-roots work and research projects in the area of the circular economy. In the city there are more then 100 projects operating directly on indirectly in this area cultivating knowledge in the research work and striving for the implementation.
Circular Berlin is an open initiative promoting a collaborative environment to unlock the potential of cross-sectorial connectivity and to accelerate Berlin transition to circular city.
